Update on Bob Leitner

Gina Hofen
Please pass this on to our prayer partners:

Thank you for the phone call. We had three doctors' appointments today, so it has been busy. I had the day off so I could accompany Bob just in case the doc had to give us bad news.

Thank you for your continued prayers. We all need them. We pray for all of you as well.

Praise for prayers! Today we got the news that there are no visible signs of cancer. Bob's spleen is still enlarged and they will do another Catscan in 4-6 weeks and make a decision whether to take out his spleen or not. He also has two nodules (two centimeters in size) on his lungs, but they've been there awhile with no change. The wait has been hellacious. I pray God will continue to show us His will for He has spared Bob for awhile. It's so great to know that God is in control! We're at peace with whatever happens.

We love our awesome church family so much. There are no words to tell you all.

Love in Christ,

Bob & Connie Leitner

+++++++++++++++++

Just a short note to praise God with Bob and Connie and to thank everyone for your prayers for them. The report is very good. We will wait on the Lord for continued improvement and for the Lord to reveal His will for them both in these days and rest in Him and enjoy each day.

Women's Council & Women's Ministries at Arcade

Dear AL Ladies:
As one of your representatives to Women's Council (Gayla is the other one), I attended the WC meeting tonite for the first time. Following are some things you may want to know regarding Women's Ministries at Arcade.

Your Board consists of the following members: Dixie Weyel, Director; Sheila Davison, Micki Moore, Sheila Newell, Alice Moss, Louise Hunt, Rachel Jackson, Cindy Nelson, Rissa Scott and Kari Bondar.

Women's Ministries is very active and is open to suggestions, comments, snide remarks, etc. There are several newer younger women on the board, so it looks like the older members are looking to step down at some point when the younger ones have things well in hand.
