A Bumpy Road has Character with it's Contour . . .
This past year has brought many changes to our church and class. The road to the "Promised Land" has been strewn with lots of rocks and gray clouds have been looming on the horizon about the past present and future. This has not stopped God from bein in control. He is still on "The Throne". He has been faithful to us through everything. We have been waiting for "The Lord on High" and He heard our cry. We now have a shepherd in Bob Cryder that is challenging us weekly from the pulpit to daily live in victory over sin by quoting scripture as Jesus did when He was tempted by Satan.

Many others are receiving Jesus as Lord in their lives, over 250 people in the last 2 months. Things are beginning to look different around Arcade Church. A new day has been dawning on us and God has given us an opportunity to join Him. An excitement fills the air with expectation and join in the Lord. Many people that have been attending for years and years are submitting themselves to the Holy Spirit and really following the Scriptures and gaining victory over sins that have plagued them for most of their lives. Yes things are changing here at Arcade Church.

There are some immediate changes you need to be aware of. Effective June 12, 2005, Abundant Life will no longer be meeting in the Masonic Bldg. Our class time will still be at 8:30 AM, but we will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall, Room 504 and 508. The Church has moved some classes and combined others to give us the space for our class. Room 504 is the door next to the children's playground and next to the kitchen door "huh oh . . . wrong door ...", close to the Information Booth. Room 508 has its entrance for the class.

Over the last number of weeks in Abundant Life we have talked about our "mission" as a class, and class participants gave us thoughts and scriptures to support those thoughts. We spent one Sunday looking at how to prepare our personal testimony. We passed out a sheet with instructions as to what should be included and what should not be included. We also finished a sheet to write out your testimony. Another week we had Donna Munroe give a live E.E. presentation to Sheri Jameson, who played the part of someone resisting the Gospel. Another week we had the Shattenberg's, missionaries to ...come and share with us.

If you have not been able to attend recently, we extend a fresh invitation to rejoin us to check out what God is doing in our midst. Our Prayer/Worship times have been nothing short of spectacular. God is pulling us together to be there for each other. Come and be a part of what God is doing in our midst. Life is always an adventure, sometimes in joy, other times in sorrow, in amazement, and others in wondering whether God really knows what He is doing. Abundant Life wishes to be for you no matter where you find your life on the continum.
